The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) has settled the last round of the competition financed from European Funds. The total allocation of the competition was more than doubled, up to PLN 102 million.
"Due to the great interest from startups, the initial allocation of the competition has been increased to over PLN 102 million from the original amount of PLN 50 million. Thanks to this, we can provide much more European Funds for innovative businesses from Eastern Poland. Including the pilot run under the action Development of startups in Eastern Poland, a total of over 600 startups received funding" - emphasized Dariusz Budrowski, President of PARP.
Albatros Golf received an award in the competition of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) "Development of startups in Eastern Poland" financed from European Funds of the Eastern Poland Program (POPW) for a mobile application for learning to play golf. The company received funding for the development of an application that uses artificial intelligence to improve golf training and reduce the risk of sports injuries.
Albatros Golf was one of several dozen start-ups participating in the competition. The jury assessed each entry based on its level of innovation and potential positive impact on the industry. Most of the winning projects concerned the IT, sales and medicine industries. Albatros Golf has won recognition for its revolutionary approach to golf training.
Albatros Golf Virtual Coach is an AI-powered mobile app that helps both professional and amateur golfers improve their game. It offers personalized advice and instruction tailored to each user's individual needs, with regular feedback and analysis to help them track their progress. In addition, the application provides a computer vision module that allows users to detect flaws in the golf swing.

The total value of the project is 1,327,302 PLN of which 996,752.50 PLN is financed by the European Fund (learn more).
